Contact your provincial or territorial apprenticeship authority. They confirm required work hours, school training, documents, fees, exam eligibility, challenge pathways, and any trade-specific rules.

Arrange training when required
Registered apprentices normally complete workplace hours and scheduled technical training. Experienced workers may qualify through a trade-qualifier or challenge route, depending on the jurisdiction and trade.

Prepare for the correct exam
Use the official occupational standard, training-provider materials, current codes, and our independent practice questions. Select level-exam practice for apprenticeship stages or full-trade practice for final certification preparation.

Apply, schedule, and write
Submit the required application and documents to the official authority. Once approved, follow its scheduling instructions, identification requirements, exam rules, and rewrite policy.

Keep moving after the result
If you pass, confirm the remaining certification steps. If you do not pass, review your score breakdown, focus on weak areas, verify the waiting period, and build a structured rewrite plan.
