Safety, tools, concrete properties and calculations, site/subgrade preparation, formwork, reinforcement, placement, consolidation, screeding, floating, edging, jointing, trowelling, curing and basic repair.
Planning, estimating, advanced equipment, complex formwork and placement, machine finishing, decorative treatments, repair, coatings, grouting, cutting, coring, communication and mentoring.

- Level 1 requires at least 70% in school before the standardized exam; final result is 80% in-school and 20% exam.
- Level 2 includes theory and practical assessment, followed by the Red Seal exam.
- Minimum 70% at each level and on the Red Seal exam.
